Organic farming

We decided to follow organic farming principles and produce organic hay to avoid our exposure and our horses exposure to potentially dangerous chemicals.

To improve soil fertility we use compost (from human food scraps), winter cover crops and organic bio-stimulants.

We shred the cover crop in the spring, before the first hay cut.

I wonder if you would care to help educate me to be able to produce my own organic coastal hay for horses here on my 7 acre plot close to Fredericksburg Texas. I would so love to NOT have to use chemicals for either herbicide nor fertiliser. Perhaps you could direct me to useful sites that I could follow??
Well done you for making this happen for your local horse community!
